Our Initiatives

In 2014, Verdant turned its attention to two areas of need within the community: adult dental and behavioral health needs. Both topics were identified during Verdant’s 2013 Community Health Needs Assessment as opportunities for improvement in South Snohomish County. Read on for information about Verdant’s adult dental initiative. Information on the behavioral health initiative is coming soon.

Verdant Community Wellness Center

The Verdant Community Wellness Center opened in 2015 and serves our residents in multiple ways. In addition to housing the staff of Verdant, the building hosts free or low-cost classes, workshops, speakers, and meetings that support the well-being of our community. It also hosts a North Sound 2-1-1 Community Resource Advocate who is available to meet one-on-one with community members who need information and referrals to basic need programs.
